Watershack was founded in Sept' 2011 by Rob Cribb & is currently operated by Rob & his wife Leiona.
Rob carries over 2 decades of experience in the boardsports industry at an international level, primarily in the surfing industry.
A professional surfer in the 80’s, Rob located permanently to Oahu (Hawaii) in the early 1990's to establish Fin Control Systems & Gorilla Grip’s first international office, in the surfing heartland of Hawaii. Over a decade later as a key senior member behind the global domination of FCS, Rob returned to Australia, taking on the role as the National Sales & Marketing Manager for Jet Pilot.
Following Jet Pilot Rob was then hired by Billabong to head up their newly acquired brand 'Xcel' & several brands within Billabongs Surfing Hardware division. Rob was the driving force behind Xcel's positioning within the Australian marketplace.
Everything about Watershack is a direct result of Rob & Leiona's lifelong passion of doing what we love, across a broad spectrum of watersports such as;
- Any form of surfing whether it be on a short board, having fun with the family on a longboard or tandem, SUP & Kite Surfing.
- SUP'n flat water for family fun or open ocean training.
- Taking the 3 seater PWC on the water for a day of fun or fishing with family & friends.
